Welcome to the VAIL AI Class!
This class is for students who want to learn how to use AI in VAIL code.
Prerequisites:
- AI Application Developers Foundations Course
- VAIL Procedures Class
Purpose:
VAIL is Vantiq’s proprietary platform language. In this class, we will explore
- how VAIL procedures are evaluated and executed by large language models as Tools
- built-in Service types and procedures used in VAIL code that facilitate critical AI functionality
Objectives:
- Learn how to create Tools that LLMs can evaluate and call automatically for run-time conditions
- Gain exposure to the many Vantiq Services that cater to AI needs in VAIL code
- Gain experience working with some of the Service features that cater to AI needs in VAIL code
Class Contents (Estimated 6 hours to complete):
Note: This class covers all of the Vantiq built-in Services that developers routinely use for AI applications, with the exception of the A2A and Agent Services, which are covered more comprehensively in the AI Agents class.
